If you have any interest in playing girls rugby this coming spring, we are
having a brief meeting during ACA on Blue Week, December 14th, in the
CPR room (C123.) This meeting does not commit you! The meeting will
introduce you to some current players, and provide you with some
information about the sport, the requirements, and some training
opportunities that are available to you. If you have any questions, please

Friday, December 9th, Judi Weinstein will be in the Career Center from 12-
1 PM to talk about the field of Alternative Medicine, and more specifically,
Acupuncture and private practice.

Friday, December 16th, Fred Zupicich will be in the Career Center from
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM to talk about his experience as a businessman and
serial entrepreneur.

All Students are welcome, can stay for as long as they can, and can feel
free to bring their lunches. Come learn about different career paths!

Write a letter, save a life...and get a cookie! Amnesty
International's Write for Rights Global Write-a-thon is the
world's largest letter writing event. We will write letters
on behalf of prisoners of conscience, human rights
defenders, and torture survivors. Last year your letters
were among the 3.7 million that helped free Albert Woodfox,
Phyoe Phyoe Aung, Yecenia Armenta, and Fred Bauma from
prison. Join us during lunch and ACA on Dec. 6, 7, and 8,
in Conference Room B near the library.

The LS Memorial Sister School in Cambodia will be selling Cocoa mix as
a fundraiser this winter. These are great gifts for friends, family and
faculty! You can order your cocoa (which comes in an adorable deer
package) during lunches and ACA next week (Dec. 6-8).
$5 for 1 packet (4 servings), $20 for five packets, or $35. for ten
packets. Pick up will be Wed. Dec. 21st. If you miss the lunch sales and

There is a children’s book drive going on from now until December 9th to
benefit the Pinoy Reading Buddies who donate books to children in
underprivileged communities in the Philippines. You can make donations

The Musicians' Union hosts a Coffee House - an evening of acoustic
music - on Friday, Dec 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Caf.

Refreshments/Bake Sale, too. All proceeds will go toward pediatric
heart valve research, in memory of Tabitha Feldberg. $5 admission at
the door. Please join us for a night of good music for a good cause!

On December 16th the GSA is hosting an open mic night in A211 (the chorus
room) at 7:00pm. We will be selling tickets for $5 in front of the cafe the week
before and $8 at the door. We will also be selling goodies for varying prices. Sign
ups will be held every Wednesday and Friday in front if the cafe starting
November 30th or you can email with your name
